Collard greens is rated "excellent" for gut-loading feeder insects. High calcium, great Ca:P ratio — one of the best gut-load greens available for feeder insects.
Dandelion greens is rated "excellent" for gut-loading feeder insects. High calcium and vitamin A. Widely available and very well tolerated by most feeder insects.
Mustard greens is rated "excellent" for gut-loading feeder insects. Excellent calcium content and nutritional density. Easy to source.
Sweet potato is rated "excellent" for gut-loading feeder insects. High in beta-carotene and complex carbohydrates. Good energy source for feeder insects.
Butternut squash is rated "excellent" for gut-loading feeder insects. High beta-carotene, vitamin A precursor, and good Ca:P ratio. Well accepted by dubias and crickets.
Carrot (in moderation) is rated "good" for gut-loading feeder insects. Good beta-carotene but higher in sugar. Use alongside leafy greens rather than as the sole gut-load.
