Gargoyle gecko genetics are less formally standardised than leopard gecko genetics

Many gargoyle gecko lines are described by appearance and line-bred rather than tied to a single, proven simple-recessive gene the way many leopard gecko morphs are. Ask the breeder how a particular trait is inherited in their line before paying a premium for it.
