How to read this
  • Recessive traits (e.g. albino lines, Eclipse) only show when an animal carries two copies. A one-copy animal looks normal but is a genetic "het" carrier.
  • Dominant traits (e.g. Enigma, W&Y) show with just one copy.
  • Incomplete dominant traits (e.g. Mack Snow) show a milder look with one copy and a more extreme "super" look with two.
  • This tool models single-gene traits with known inheritance patterns only. Line-bred and polygenic traits (Tangerine, Jungle, melanistic lines) don't follow simple Mendelian ratios and aren't included.
  • Combined odds assume traits are inherited independently of one another, which holds for the traits listed here.
