Gargoyle Gecko Care Sheet: The Essentials
A gargoyle gecko needs an 18x18x24 inch tall enclosure at minimum, temperatures around 72-78°F with no supplemental heat needed in most homes, 50-70% humidity kept up with daily misting, a powdered meal-replacement diet as the staple, and insects offered in rotation.

The short version
Gargoyle geckos are calm, crepuscular-to-nocturnal, semi-arboreal geckos from southern New Caledonia. They are easy to keep once the basics are right, and most of the diet comes from a powdered meal-replacement diet rather than live insects.
Setup
Use a tall, mostly enclosed front-opening enclosure with climbing branches and foliage, a digital hygrometer and thermometer, a shallow water dish, and a humidity-holding substrate such as coco coir or a bioactive mix.
Feeding and health
Offer fresh meal-replacement powder several nights a week and rotate in insects once or twice a week. Watch body weight, keep humidity consistent, and find an exotic vet before you need one.
