Gargoyle Gecko Temperatures Explained
Quick answer
Aim for roughly 72-78°F (22-26°C), with a warm end up to about 80-82°F. Sustained temperatures above about 85°F are dangerous. Most homes need no supplemental heat source at all.

A wide comfortable range
Gargoyle geckos tolerate a broader temperature range than many reptiles, which is part of why they suit ordinary room temperature in most homes.
Overheating is the real danger
Unlike species that need a hot basking spot, a gargoyle gecko is more at risk from an enclosure that runs too hot than one that runs a little cool. Keep it out of direct sun and away from heating vents.
If you do need heat
Only add a small heat source, always controlled by a thermostat, if the room regularly drops below the mid-60s°F overnight.
